Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh with a replica of Delhi's Red Fort in the background. Modi will be speaking at a rally in Ambikapur which is part of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh's state-wide yatra ahead of the Assembly elections in the state later this year. Ambikapur in Sarguja district is about 250 km from state capital Raipur.
Earlier, on 18th May 2013 Shri Modi has addressed a public meeting that was a part of the Vikas Yatra. The meeting was held in Rajnandgaon, which is the constituency of Dr. Raman Singh. He had praised the progress undertaken in Chhattisgarh under Dr. Raman Singh. Shri Modi had also visited Chhattisgarh on 5th November 2012 to attend Chhattisgarh’s Rajyotsava celebrations in Naya Raipur.
